Biographical data
He entered the order on August 27, 1949. He left the country in 1956 and completed his studies in Rome. There, he took his perpetual vows on November 3, 1957. He was also ordained a priest in Rome on April 20, 1958. He arrived in the United States in 1959. He earned a teaching degree in mathematics and physics in Buffalo, NY. He was elected vice-provincial of the province four times and represented the school on the College Committee. In 1985, he became president of the Hungarian Priests’ Association of the East Coast. He served as the American delegate to Attila Miklósházy, the bishop for Hungarians abroad, and as chaplain to the North American Hungarian chapter of the Order of Malta.
