He was born in Dayton, OH, in the United States, and later returned to Hungary. He was ordained a priest in the Diocese of Szatmár on April 8, 1939. Beginning in 1941, he was a student at the Faculty of Arts in Kolozsvár. He passed away at the age of 29.
