Biographical data
His parents were Mihály Baráth and Julianna Csák; he had eight siblings. He entered the order on March 24, 1927. He began his novitiate on August 28, 1928, and upon its completion, he went to China as a missionary, where he took his final vows on September 1, 1932. He arrived in the United States in 1953, departing from Hong Kong and traveling via Honolulu aboard the SS Pioneer Wave. His last place of residence was Burton, MI, USA.
