Biographical data
His parents were László Fehér and Zsuzsanna Visnyei. He entered the Cistercian Order in Zirc on August 29, 1931. He took his first vows on August 30, 1932, and his final vows on June 23, 1938. He was ordained a priest on June 29, 1938, by István Zadravecz OFM, retired military bishop. He graduated from the Pázmány Péter Royal University in Budapest with a degree in geography and history. He was under arrest between August and October 1947. He was released from the Markó Street prison on October 22, 1947. He left Hungary on May 25, 1948, and, traveling through Austria, arrived in Rome on July 14, 1948; he arrived in New York by plane on January 29, 1949. He died of a heart attack.
