Biographical data
After completing elementary school, he trained as a pastry chef. From 1931 to 1933, he was a novice at Manréza, and later worked there as a tailor. He officially joined the order on September 6, 1944. He would have liked to become a priest, but he lacked both the opportunity and the necessary training. He fled to the West in 1949. He took his vows in Hamilton on February 2, 1956.
