Biographical data
He entered the order on August 6, 1840. He took his final vows on February 2, 1868. To the best of our knowledge, he was the first pastor of Hungarian descent to settle in the United States, although he likely did not participate in Hungarian pastoral work. He was ordained a priest in Spring Hill in 1858. This made him the first priest of Hungarian descent to be ordained in the United States. According to some sources, he resided in Lyon, France, between 1863 and 1880.
