Biographical data
He graduated from Eötvös József High School in 1982, then attended the Zalka Máté Military Technical College from 1982 to 1986 as a professional soldier. He served near Budapest as an air defense missile operator. He was discharged in 1989, after which he returned to civilian life. On September 17, 1995, he entered the Society of Jesus and completed his novitiate in Szeged. He pursued his religious studies in Munich and then in London, and was ordained a priest in Budapest on October 1, 2006. He took his final vows on December 27, 2011. On October 16, 2025, he suffered a severe stroke and was treated for months while in critical condition.
