Biographical data
He entered the order on August 24, 1928. He completed his novitiate and rhetoric studies in Budapest at the Manréza, while also finishing his high school education. Between 1934 and 1937, he studied philosophy in Szeged, and then studied theology in Innsbruck beginning in 1939. On July 21, 1941—or, according to the Jesuit directory, on the 26th—he was ordained a priest. From 1943, he studied biblical studies in Rome, then completed his tertianship in Szeged in 1944, after which he returned to Rome. From 1949, he lived in South America.
