Biographical data
He completed his high school studies in Sümeg and Keszthely. On August 14, 1935, he entered the Abbey of Csorn. He pursued his theological studies from 1935 to 1941 in Csorn and in St. Florian, Austria. He took his solemn vows on August 15, 1940, and was ordained a priest on October 5, 1941. He earned a degree in Hungarian and German from Pázmány Péter University. He left the country in 1950; until 1955, he served as an assistant pastor and catechist in Tyrol, after which he emigrated to the United States. He was one of the founding fathers of the monastery in Orange. He passed away after a long illness, one month before his 91st birthday.
